The Eastman Kodak company was founded from the «Eastman Dry Plate Company», a company for the manufacture of photographic plates founded by inventor George Eastman with the patronage of businessman Henry Strong in 1881 in Rochester, New York in the United States of America. .
In 1914 Kodak introduces its autographic models, with which notes can be written on the photographs through an opening on the back of the camera, using a metal pen included in the camera. Unfortunately this pen disappears from its carrier chambers over time.
