Oil on canvas by Josep Ventosa Domènech (Barcelona, 1897 – Port d’Andratx, 1982), one of the most important representatives of “Majorcan landscaping” of the 20th century, recognized throughout the world.
The oil represents a mountainous landscape, with the ancient olive trees of Lluch (Sierra de Tramontana) on the island of Mallorca.
